Thursday, Sep 25, 2008 Mansion Poker Moves to the iPoker Network

In October 2007 Mansion Poker went from being a stand-alone poker room to joining the Ongame network. Now it's time for a new switch, to the up-and-coming iPoker network.

The transaction to the new network will be relatively smooth for Mansion Poker players. New software needs to be installed, but all players get to keep their usernames and passwords. A new screen name needs to be chosen, however.

All funds are automatically transferred to the new poker client. Any funds that were in a player's poker or Mansion wallet have been placed in the poker balance.

Players who had registered for future tournaments at Ongame have gotten their buy-ins refunded. Those who bought in with a tournament ticket will receive a ticket refund.

Outstanding tournament tickets are available to use at the iPoker network. If an exact match is not available, the closest alternative has been granted with a 'rounding up' of value.

Regarding Mansion Players Points the following is stated:

"Your player points have been converted and migrated to our new Mansion Club Points. The conversion rate is 5:1, so your points will look like 1/5 of the points you previously had. Note: this does not decrease the value! The items we have are 1/5 of the previous price."
