Stout Makes Another Tunica Final Table and Isildur1 Still Losing

Pokerjunkie friend Matt "AllInAt420" Stout recently made the final table for the 2nd straight year in the Main Event of the WSOP Circuit event in Tunica, MS. I was on hand in 2009 when he made his final table run and ultimate 3rd place finish. This year, both he and his buddy Paul Wasicka (yes, as in 2006 WSOP Main Event runner-up) made the final.

Matt didn't quite make it as far as last year, finishing 7th, but Wasicka took down the event for $139,442. Ever the shrewd businessman, Stout had 5% of Wasicka so he got an additional $7k on top of the $17,990 for 7th. So it is safe to say that Tunica agrees with Stout, although I am not sure how well he likes fried green tomatoes. (Yes folks, they really have those there. They are scary.)

Isildur1 is back and playing on Full Tilt. Of course, he isn't playing the same nosebleed limits. The net result? Isildur1 stuck another $150,000. I guess moving down in stakes didn't help much. Then again, playing Durrrr and dropping $40,000 didn't help much.

Trust me, other than having a similar sense of humor, the similarities stop there. I run worse in NL Holdem than a one legged man running a marathon in the snow.
