Jungleman Dominates March - Up $1.6 Million
Dan "Jungleman12" Cates has been on fire during the month of March and is up $1.6 million through March 12th.
Cates has won the majority of his $1.6 million at the high stakes 2-7 Triple Draw games over on Full Tilt where he has currently been dominating all opponents.
He has nearly four times the earnings of Ben "Bttech86" Tollerene who currently is up $429,494 in March.
Gus Hansen is actually on his way to his first winning month in nearly three years. He is currently up $189,013. At one point this month he was up nearly $1 million but has slid as of late. He is still down $1.28 million on the year.
After opening the year strong, Viktor "Isildur1" Blom is down $1.05 million for the month of March and now has only $74,656 in earnings for 2014.
Bttech86 is currently the top dog in 2014 with $1.95 million in earnings. Jungleman12 is right on his heels with $1.92 million.
Phil Ivey - The Next Don King?
Phil Ivey made headlines this past weekend for more than his poker. Ivey revealed that he has part ownership of All In Entertainment, a company that will promote both boxing and entertainment.
The sports world had been busy hyping Ivey's backing of welterweight sensation Dusty Harrison. The undefeated welterweight continued his unbeaten streak this past week on Friday Night Fights and is among those promoted by Ivey's new company.
Some of the other names listed as clients of Ivey's company include Denver Nuggets point Guard Ty Lawson, WBA Middleweight Champion Andrew Ward, and sports announcer JB Brown.
