Thursday, Dec 18, 2008 Flack takes Back Brunson Attack
No more hard feelings between the two poker stars.
PokerJunkie reported yesterday that Layne Flack had accused Doyle Brunson of buying bracelets in the early WSOP days.
Brunson, of course, reacted strongly, but now the argument has been settled. Flack approached Brunson during the Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic at the Bellagio and claimed that he had been misquoted and that a retraction of his statement will be published.
"I have no reason to not believe Layne. We have always been friends and I probably reacted too quickly. I should have learned by now not to pay any attention to what people say. Anyway, I'm putting it behind me and I'm sure Layne will do also," Brunson writes on his blog.
Note: Doyle may forgive and forget, but PokerJunkie still thinks that Flack is a clown.
