ElkY wins the PokerStars $25k High Roller Eve

The Frenchman Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier started 2008 in a great way by winning the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) and he starts 2009 on the same note. He busted out early in this year's PCA main event this year, but got his revenge in the $25k High Roller Event.

The final table had an all-star cast featuring great players such as Humberto Brenes, Eli Elezra, Scott Seiver and Daniel Alaei. But ElkY was the one coming out ahead. Heads-up he faced Will Molson and it only took him one hand to win the title. Molson showed his $331,000 all-in with KT and was instantly called by ElkY holding AJ. An ace on turn sealed the deal and it was all over for Molson. ElkY received $433,500 for his victory in the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $25k High Roller Event and Molson got $228,000 for second place.
