Doyle Brunson Stands up for the Old Guns of P

"Texas Dolly" doesn't agree with Daniel Negreanu's praise of younger poker players.

As usual, Doyle Brunson isn't afraid to let people know what he thinks. He writes the following in his blog:

"I saw where Daniel was bragging about some of the young poker players' accomplishments. A lot has been made about the number of entries in the old days and some of the older guys' records can't mean as much. Well, a final table is a final table and in the "old days" the field was thinner but tougher."

Brunson then goes on to list the accomplishments of a few other poker legends:

Johnny Moss - 22 WSOP final tables - eight wins - two second places.

Billy Baxter - 11 WSOP final tables - seven wins - one second place

Brunson himself - 21 WSOP final tables - ten wins - two second places.

As Brunson puts it: "Some of us dinosaurs could close the deal also."
