Monday, Feb 7, 2011 Carbon Poker Getting Extreme Makeover
Carbon Poker has revealed it will launch an overhaul and redesign of its site on March 1. Several things will change regarding the site, from the logo down to the overall look and feel of the game.
According to information released to affiliates:
"The redesign includes an all-new logo, site, and VIP program, among many other things, and will resolve a number of limitations the old site had while giving us a number of key strengths to work with going forward."
More information regarding the site redesign and VIP program changes will be released later in the month.
Currently, the online poker site is running its "Super Money Tree" promotion. Players qualify for the promotion by playing in any of the games on the Merge Gaming Network. Players must elect to opt into the promotion in order to participate.
Essentially, a player can earn cash for each day that they earn at least 100 VIP points in a 24 hour period. At the end of the month, players will be paid $1 for every 75 points on days they earn at least 100 points. Players will receive payment on points for their top five days in points.
If a player gets 175 points for 10 days, that payout will change to $1 for every 55 VIP points and they will get paid for their top 10 days. Finally, if a player can manage to make 250 points for 20 days, they will get $1 for every 25 points earned. They will get this payment for their top 10 days in points.
