A $1.2 million bad beat jackpot - world record! - was won by the players in a $100 max No-Limit Hold'em game at Carbon Poker.
The losing player RUGGIO received $417,396 when his straight flush lost to a higher straight flush, while the winner, AELANI, got $209,000. The rest of the record-breaking jackpot was split between the other players at the table.
Currently, the bad beat jackpot at Carbon Poker is worth almost $300,000. Any player who loses with quad sevens or better will get the largest part of that money.
