Can durrrr Afford his own Challenge?

Tom "durrrr" Dwan has lost close to $3 million in 2009, even before his famous heads-up challenge has started.

Play 50,000 hands heads-up with me. If you win, I'll give you $1.5 million - if I win you'll only have to pay $500,000, Tom "durrrr" Dwan told the poker world. Looking at the high-stakes stats for 2009, that's the sucker bet of a lifetime.

So far this year, durrrr has lost $2,780.874.79 at the Full Tilt Poker tables. The second biggest loser, Sami "LarzLuzak" Kelopuro, has lost $1.5 million.

Pros such as Phil Ivey, Patrik Antonius and David Benyamine are lining up to take up durrrr's challenge, but one has to wonder if the young highroller will have any money left when push comes to shove (word is that the challenge will get underway after the Aussie Millions.)
