PLO will eventually drive you insane
Omaha can give anyone gray hairs and if Patrik Antonius had
any it would probably have changed color after this horrific
beat. I've always regarded Patrik as one of the nicest and
most humble pros, but that all changed after seeing this
clip. "Good luck buddy. God call by the way, or good raise, good
Poker Staking for the 21st Century
Most anyone that is a serious poker player has at least
entertained the idea of getting them staked into a
tournament or a cash game. Â Online staking has always
been a bit of a crapshoot for players unless they can get
stakes from friends or backers that they know in real
life. Â Online staking has changed in the last year or so
with the creation of ChipMeUp. com.
An end of an era has arrived. Â PokerRoom. com was launched
in 1999 and was one of the first online poker sites to hit
the internet. Â When the poker boom hit, the site expanded
its game offerings and became one of the most popular sites
on the internet.
WSOP Europe Schedule Released
The World Series of Poker Europe schedule was released. Â
This years WSOP-E will be held from September 17th to
October 1st at the Casino of the Empire in London,
England. Â As has been the case the last two years, many
of the top players from Europe and around the world will
come take their shot at a bracelet in fields that are a lot
smaller than the fields that are at the WSOP in Las Vegas. There are four events in at the WSOP-E.
World Poker Classic Show Trend of Online Poker
The Five Star World Poker Classic is currently underway in
Las Vegas. Â In prior years, this event has averaged
between 100 and 200 players per event. Â This year, Event
1,2, and 11 have broken 100 players and the rest of the
events have been averaging 50 players. Â The first $5,000
event drew 106 players.
Lack of live experience costs Peter Eastgate $25k
There's always a lot of talk about young online players
having trouble adjusting to live games. Lots of it is just
bs, it doesn't take more than a live session or two to get
hang of the basic differences. But in season five of High
Stakes Poker we've seen some interesting examples of the
contrary. In the first episode there's a story of Tom 'durrrr' Dwan
checking with only his index finger in Bellagio (like you
click the mouse), which caused some confusion because no one
even noticed the check.
Negreanu totally off his game in High Stakes Poker
In my opinion Daniel Negreanu is one of the most stable and
consistent poker pros out there. I've rarely seen him make
any big mistakes, but in the latest episode (#3) of High
Stakes Poker season five his game totally falls apart. It all starts with a hand he plays against Barry Greenstein. Negreanu gets pretty unlucky hitting a two pair on the turn
when Greenstein has flopped the nut straight.
What Happens in Vegas…Is Now on Youtube
We all remember the "What Happens in Vegas" commercials?Â
Well, apparently what happens in Vegas now gets put on

Does anyone else think this guy looks a little like
So, for your poker players, I provide the following
If you are male, please do NOT wear a thong.
The Russians are Coming!!!
The Russians are invading America and they want your money. Don't believe me? Where have you been? Watching reruns of
when people actually cared about Micon? Russian poker
players are now beginning to dominate the sport. Naturally, any casual poker fan knows about Ivan Demidov and
his runner-up finish at the WSOP this year. He also finished
3rd in the WSOP-E Main Event.
Durrrr Dominating High Stakes Poker….NOT!
Are you as sick of hearing about durrrr as I am writing
about him? For the last three months, it has been nothing
but durrrr. Everyone is talking about how that "durrrr will
beat Patrik", "durrrr will beat Ivey," and "durrrr may be
the greatest of all time. "
In the meanwhile, durrrr has barely been keeping even with
Antonius. Of course, until recently, he seemed to be ducking
