Hot Redhead of the Month - Miss January

7 January 2011 , By: compncards
January Redhead 200x300
Anyone that knows me or that has followed my blog for the past two years knows my love of redheads.   Well, it looks like PokerJunkie likes my taste in women as they have asked me to start bringing you a monthly redhead for your viewing and "poker" pleasure. This month's redhead I ran across while doing a piece involving Jennifer Tilly.   As you can see, she has a spinner's body with a set of hips that don't make you feel you are going to break her.

Friedman UB Pro 430x271
Unless you have been living under a rock, or trapped in an airport over the holidays, you know that Annie Duke and Phil Hellmuth have both left UB.   When Hellmuth's departure was announced on December 30th, UB also hinted that new pros would be added to the roster.   Later that night, Allen Kessler pointed out on twitter that Annie Duke's bio page now had Prahlad's Friedman's name on it.   Here is a shot of the page: With that, everyone has assumed that Friedman has indeed signed a deal with UB.

I was awakened earlier today by a text message from @merchdawg stating the following: "Annie leaving UB. " I then logged onto twitter and saw the tweet from Annie herself saying that she was leaving UB and that she had posted a new blog.   I logged on and the first line said it all: "It’s bittersweet, but I’ve decided to leave UB. " Annie Duke leaves UB to "explore and pursue other business opportunities on a full-time basis.

The 2011 WSOP Main Event Will Be Won by a PokerStars Player

I have noticed an interesting, but odd trend at the WSOP Main Event Final Table.  Since 2003, 6 of the 8 Main Event Champions were PokerStars players / patched by PokerStars.   While it is true that PokerStars sends more Main Event players than any other site, you would think that there would have been more than 1 Main Event Champ from Full Tilt in the last 8 years. The only two Main Event winners since 2003 that were not with PokerStars were Jerry Yang and Jamie Gold.
