The 2010 WSOP has finally wrapped up, or at least until November anyway.   We saw a lot of history made and big headline stories along the way.   I thought I would take a few moments to review some of the predictions I made a couple of days prior to the start of the Series. *Women Will Not Walk Away With Three Bracelets - Result: Push* Technically, I nailed this one based on the title, but I also said I thought that women would walk away with 2 bracelets including the Ladies Event.

WSOP Main Event Day 3 Evening Update – Cada Bust, Year of the Woman?, and Girls of the Rail

Cada 200x300
Day 3 is in the books with little over 1,200 players surviving to come back tomorrow afternoon for Day 4, that still is not enough for them to all be in one room, but they should get there sometime in the first few levels. *No Returning Champs* Shortly before dinner 2010 Main Event Champion Joe Cada was eliminated from this year's Main Event. Not since Johnny Chan won back to back years in '87 and '88 have we seen a repeat champion. Speaking of Johnny Chan, he ended the night with approximately 630k.

WSOP Main Event Day 2b Update No. 2 - Are you Jesus?, Hands...We Got Hands

Fake Ferg 200x300
We are almost done with the final Day 2 of the 2010 WSOP which means tomorrow is a much needed day off. Today we searched for Jesus, saw some of the weirdest hands play out and reviewed the terms and conditions of PS and FTP deals. *Will the Real Jesus Please Stand Up* Over the past few days we have noticed quite a few Jesus imitators in the Rio. Today was no different as we came across the following player sitting at a table playing in today's field.

Can we just get on to Day 2 please? Only one more day of this mundane Day 1 stuff, but tomorrow we will finally be done with Day 1s here at the 2010 WSOP and then we get two Day 2s before an actual day off from the series. *Emmitt Smith gives the "Shuffle Up and.

WSOP Day 38 Second Update - TOC Finally Over, Daniel Alaei Wins 3rd Bracelet, and the Circus is Coming!!

Howard Lederer 199x300
It has been a very interesting, and late, night at the 2010 World Series of Poker. Four events were underway tonight, but only half of them completed. Huck Seed won the Tournament of Champions and Daniel Alaei won his 3rd career bracelet. *Tournament of Champions Grind Finally Over* While many pros did their typical "thank you for the opportunity" speech at the end of the event, the one word that stuck out before the final table began was #clusterfuck.

Dan Kelly 351x300
Contrary to popular belief, there is more going on this weekend than just parties.   Several events are still underway at the 2010 WSOP including the $25,000 NL, the $10,000 PL Omaha World Championship, and yes, event the Tournament of Champions.  Well, sort of. *Dan Kelly Wins $25,000 Six-Handed NL Event* Dan Kelly survived a strong final table to take down the $25,000 Six-Handed NL Event and over $1.
