John Bonetti 430x285
For a few weeks now, I have been pondering poker and morality. While some believe that the two are mutually exclusive of each other, it has become quite evident what crimes are unforgivable. *Abuse Can Be Overlooked* Some of you may remember my memories of John Bonetti and how I have said in the past he has reminded me of my grandfather. Well, one thing that John and my grandfather shared was a fiery temper.

Prahlad Friedman is no Longer Karma's Bitch

It looks like karma has finally decided to get off Prahlad Friedman's back. After going 0 for everything since the 2006 WSOP Main Event, Friedman made his first cash in over 2 1/2 years at the 2009 WSOP Main Event. He has now won the Legends of Poker Main Event for $1 Million. Don't get me wrong, Friedman is a great player, but I never have had any respect for him since what he pulled with Jeff Lisandro.

Thang Luu went from being a two time bracelet winner to an utter idiot. In a story that I just heard about thanks to another website, apparently Thang Luu got himself banned from Harrah's for breaking a dealer's hand. From the reports I have read, Luu and another player were in a pot until showdown. The other player stated that he could not see Luu's cards.

The $1,500 Omaha Hi-Lo Event just recently completed. Normally, this would be just a nice footnote in history. The winner of the bracelet in most cases would fade off into relative obscurity unless they were one of the big name pros like Annie Duke. That is not the case this year.
