This kicked off a strong 2010 that resulted in $2. 6 million in winnings and Selbst climbing to fourth on the Women's All-Time Money list. In case any of you happen to miss it, Vanessa Selbst won the NAPT Main Event at the Mohegan Sun over the weekend. Yes, you read that correct. A woman won a major open tournament. She took down the event and $750,000.

Isildur1 has apparently accepted Tony G's offer to stake him into PartyPoker's Big Game IV. It is unclear whether or not that Isildur1 will reveal his identity to the world or wear some type of mask to keep people guessing. However, we have a pretty go idea of who Isildur1 is not: *Phil Hellmuth* Someone jokingly made a comment on one news story that Phil was Isildur1. Hellmuth plays too rocky to be Isildur1.

Full Tilt Playing With Pandora's Box?

The big story over the last few days is the fact that it appears that Full Tilt Poker has decided to enact a ban of any events that are being held by PokerStars, more specifically the NAPT (North American Poker Tour). A recent charity event in Vegas was also snubbed by Full Tilt and their red pros. The fact that Full Tilt is telling their players not to play a PokerStars event does not concern me as much as it does other. If Full Tilt does not want it’s players playing on the NAPT, that hurt them and potentially their pros.

PokerStars Announces North American Poker Tour

PokerStars announced today that the North American Poker Tour is officially a go.   The current PokerStars Caribbean Adventure will serve as the first ever NAPT event.  The first US NAPT event will be next months DeepStack Extravaganza at the Venetian in Las Vegas. The Main Event of these events will be televised and Joanna Kruppa.
