Mike Sexton Replaced as WPT Host
Mike Sexton had to give up his final table announcing duties
at the Bay 101 World Poker Tour event on Friday. The reason
was that he actually made the final table. He wound up
finishing in 6th place. Mike Matusow also made the final table and ultimately
finished in 3rd place.

WSOP Main Event Day 1c Update – Hellmuth Makes His Grand Entrance, and the Curse of the Feature Table
Feels like groundhog day here at the WSOP today, all the
reporters are over writing up day one information and
nothing exciting is happening. Well Hellmuth did make his
standard entrance to the Main Event today, with some
minor technical difficulties. *Helmuth Fights Way Into Amazon Room*
What would a WSOP Main Event be without Phil Helmuth making
some type of grand entrance, or cry for attention (you be
the call). This year was no different from the years past,
with him actually having a stage pulled up to the entrance
of the conference center here at the Rio for a brief show
before he finally arrived.

WSOP Day 16 Second Update - Weirdness at the Rio and Mike Matusow is at it Again

The Poker World Wants to See Mike Matusow Naked
A few weeks back, WSOP VP Ty Stewart made a bold prediction
that three women would win bracelets in open events. Â
With the recent success of women in major events, there is a
good chance that this could come to fruition. Â Mike
Matusow isnât so keen on the idea. Â Mike has made
the claim that if three women win bracelets, he will run
down the strip naked.
