PvsI
This week's edition of Flashback Friday takes us back to November 7, 2009, a day that will never happen again thanks to recent changes at Full Tilt Poker. Patrik Antonius and Viktor "Isildur1" Blom were entangled in a massive heads-up match playing $500-$1,000 PL Omaha. A mini-raising war pre-flop resulted in Antonius five-betting to $81,000 before Isildur1 finally decided to see a flop. On a flop of 5c-4s-2h, Antonius bet out $91,000, followed by a pot-size raise by Isildur1 to $435,000, Antonius potted to $779,000, effectively putting Isildur1 all-in for his last $162,473.

Full Tilt
Full Tilt Poker is released a new tournament variant on Wednesday called a Flipout tournament. The way these tournament works is that the entire field goes all-in on the very first hand and the winner are then in the money. For example, in an 81 players SNG, the final table would be reached after the first hand. It is part Kamikaze and part single-table SNG all in one.

It Is NOT Time to Ban Howard Lederer and Chris Ferguson From the WSOP

BanHammer 430x241
I was listening to Bluff Magazine's "The Rundown" yesterday and they mentioned an article on PokerListings. com written by Lee Davy that asked whether Howard Lederer and Chris Ferguson should be banned from the World Series of Poker. *The WSOP nor Caesars Have Been Harmed* The first, and most relevant point against the banning of Ferguson and Lederer is the fact that both are in good standing with both Caesars and the World Series of Poker. As players, neither have cheated the company nor behaved inappropriately during their play at the WSOP, or at least not at any level that would warrant a ban.

Cardplayer dropped the bomb on former US Full Tilt Poker players last week when they said that it would be a year or longer before payments would be made. This has brought a lot of anger from players across the nation, but it really shouldn't be that big of a surprise. *Why So Shocked?* It has only been four months since the DOJ approved Garden City Group as the settlement firm. Some people completely expected to have been paid in full before now.

Americans Waiting
Back in March, the United States Department of Justice announced that the Garden City Group (GCG) would be utilized to process remission claims for former American players at Full Tilt Poker. At that time, the website FullTiltPokerClaims. com was setup and players were urged to register for further updates. More than 3 1/2 months have passed with very little information coming from the company in terms of when the process will begin and if an article at PokerUpdate.

Skeet Shooting 405x300
Earlier today, I was looking for a small mirror and wound up grabbing an old Full Tilt installation cd.   Probably the first time I have ever used it for any purpose whatsoever. It got me to thinking about the millions of disks around the world that are now just collecting dust.   There has got to be something more to do with them than just junk them right?  Here are some ideas.
