I Play Heads-Up for Rolls

1 11 April 2010 , By: compncards
Isildur1 has now officially become a pop icon. Fredrik Thomson, Sohello Shah, and Joacim Gustavsson have collaborated together to create a song for the mad Swede. Yes, you heard that right, a song. While the song isn't as catchy as "Playing Poker for a Living" or "All-in", it is still funny as hell.

The last week or so, I have been having a really up and down week. I decided to start playing more PLO cash games as it is one game that I have very little cash game experience. I have been told from my play in tournaments that my style is "too tight and predictable. " At the same time, the only two PLO tourneys I have ever played in have resulted in a 8th place finish and a win.

As many of you have already heard, Full Tilt Poker has become the online poker whipping boy lately. First, a federal grand jury is set to prosecute Full Tilt on money laundering charges. They are also going after Howard Lederer, Chris Ferguson, and several others. Kentucky has also filed their own complaint, but they have specifically stated that they are going to sue and attempt to recover the money lost by players from March 25, 2005 and September 25, 2009.

Pilgrim 205x300
For those of you that don't follow smaller events closely, Dwyte Pilgrim recently won his third WSOP Circuit ring at Harrah's Rincon. Quite an accomplishment for the young pro, especially since he just won his first ring last year. Wicked Chops Poker asked if he was the best Minor League Pro out there. This got me to thinking about Poker in the terms of Baseball.

Isildur1 has apparently accepted Tony G's offer to stake him into PartyPoker's Big Game IV. It is unclear whether or not that Isildur1 will reveal his identity to the world or wear some type of mask to keep people guessing. However, we have a pretty go idea of who Isildur1 is not: *Phil Hellmuth* Someone jokingly made a comment on one news story that Phil was Isildur1. Hellmuth plays too rocky to be Isildur1.
