Full Tilt Finally Pays Out - Just Not to You

Alderney Gets Paid 430x258
The Alderney Gambling Control Commission announced today that Full Tilt has paid the license fees that were due. According to reports, this amount was reported to be around $410,000. In its statement regarding the matter, the AGCC claimed that "The recent payment of overdue license fees by FTP is also in players’ best interests since it allows commercial negotiations to take place that might result in a successful refinancing deal. " If you read between the lines, that basically equates to "We will give them their license back should Full Tilt secure a deal.

Fluffy Bunny 367x300
We are officially in the post-WSOP doldrums. I've been perusing the various sites for news and, as expected, there is your typical mix of relevant poker news and filler. The problem is that there seems to be a lot of filler. The fluffy bunnies are now playing poker it seems.

Brad Daugherty's Bracelet Doesn't Sell - Again

Daughtery Bracelet 430x286
I just read that 1991 WSOP Main Event Champ Brad Daugherty failed to sell his bracelet yet again on eBay. He tried to do so in December of last year and it failed to sell. This time, bids went up to $28,100 and yet it didn't meet whatever reserve he put on the bracelet. The first thought that came to my head is "What the fuck?" The bracelet is worth maybe $3k, if that, if you melted it down for scrap gold.

Ivey 430x287
There is no other way to put this but to say, I told you so. I said weeks ago[http://www. pokerjunkie. com/poker-blog/poker-news/full-tilts-license-revocation-first-steps-or-the-final-straw] that if the Alderney Gambling Control Commission was to reinstate Full Tilt’s license that they would need to show that they are making significant process towards paying US players back.

Deep Thoughts with Compncards

The monkey eats custard. Why the monkey eats custard is beyond me. Perhaps he was tired of his typical diet of bananas and poo. Perhaps his stomach was upset after the Full Tilt – Alderney “hearing” yesterday.

November Nine WSOP 430x285
The 2011 World Series of Poker Main Event has finally reached the November Nine. I stayed with the coverage until we got to 10 players, but I had to get some sleep so I missed John Hewitt's bustout in 10th place. Regardless, here are your November Nine: *Martin Staszko* - Chip Leader - 40. 17 Million:  Stasko is one of the unknowns at this final table.
