Monday, Nov 8, 2010 Anonymous Tables at Party Poker Too
PartyPoker.com is the next online poker site to introduce anonymous poker tables.
Anonymous online poker tables are on the come. Ladbrokes recently introduced anonymous cash game tables. Now Party Poker follows suit.
Anonymous heads up poker
With the latest software update, Party Poker launched anonymous tables for heads up no limit holdem poker.
This means your nickname will not be displayed at the table. Instead you'll play under the name Player 1 or Player 2.
Obviously, the same goes for your opponent.
In this way, no one will have the opportunity of checking up their opponent in a poker stats program such as Poker tracker or Poker Office.
You'll have no use of a poker HUD software, and no one will be able to see your stats at the table either.
Anonymous online poker good or bad?
Good or bad, the opinions differ. Some raise a flag for improved cheating opportunities. Some ask who this is intended for.
Anyway, anonymous tables are here. If you want to try them out, you should sign up to Party Poker here.
