All Year Long: $1 Million in Freeroll Prizes
Players Only Poker give away one million dollars in freerolls this year. Ten freeroll tournaments are played monthly during the year, each pouring out $100K in prize money over a few happy players.
Players Only could also be called US players only - only US players are accepted in this online poker room. Of course, this makes it easier to get your fair share of the million.
Monthly $100K freerolls
Each Sunday during a ten months period, a $100K freeroll is played, paying $75,000 to the first place finisher. To play in this big monthly tournament, you need first to qualify, but this is free as well.
You can either qualify through freeroll satellites twice a day all through the week, or you may enter through a Gold Chip qualifier. To play in a Gold Chip qualifier, you must buy-in using ten Gold Chips.
If you don't manage to qualify for free, or if you simply think it's worth the investment, you can still buy in to the $100,000 tournament for cash. The buy in is $50.
In poker, anyone can win
Experienced players and newbies are equally welcome, and anyone can win, that's what great about poker.
"We have a lot of relatively new players at our tables," said Players Only manager David Anderson. "They can find themselves at a monthly final face-to-face with really experienced players. They're holding their own pretty well I'd say - a lot of the prize money is going to players that have hardly played in tournaments before."
Of course, having the chance of winning money in a freeroll is a very fine proposition. As one in-the-money finisher put it:
"You're not gambling with real money, so in a freeroll that means you've got absolutely nothing to lose."
Thanks to these huge monthly freerolls, each month some player will bring home $75,000 - without having to put any money at risk.

In each of these freeroll tournaments, the $100,000 prize pool is distributed as follows:
1st place: $75,000
2nd place: $10,000
3rd place: $10,000
4th place: $2,500
5th place: $1,000
6th - 10th place: $500
11th - 20th place: $300
21st - 30th place: $100
