PokerStars just signed two members from the World Series of Poker November Nine. Ylon Schwartz and Dennis Phillips are the latest addition to the now 31 person strong team.
Dennis Phillips and Ylon Schwartz are joining a strong team that already caters stars such as Daniel Negreanu, Barry Greenstein and Greg Raymer. Schwartz is already an experienced poker player that has been playing the game professionally for several years. He lives in New York and started out as a chess hustler before he took up poker. He came in forth in last years WSOP Main Event winning $3,794,974.
Phillips is an accountant for a truck company in St. Louis, but will now be able to change his title to professional poker player. He qualified to the WSOP in a satellite at his local casino and went on a crazy winning streak in the Main Event, taking him all the way to the third place and a $4,517,773 paycheck.
Phillips will be playing at PokerStars under the name 'D.Phillips' and Schwartz will not surprisingly have the screen name 'YlonSchwartz'.
