I was dealt k,j hearts there was 5 players who called the blind no raise so I raise, attemteing to steal a pot and double my stack, everyone calls.
The flop a,q,10 hearts. I damn near hit the roof flopping as we say the nutz a royal flush, my first and so as any good poker player would do in my opinion i raise the flop this lady reraises and everyone calls. Turn dosent matter I can't lose and damn im all in and the turn and river both get capped in betting. Once the show down comes the dealer splits side pot 1 and looks at me i cooly lay down my royal flush and the table is stunned, everyone's mouth dropped to the floor. It was great the king of poker for just a second.
But the luck was not over couple hours later after a few drinks and a 500 stack, i sit 5-10 limit holdem you know a few drinks good stack what a combination for disaster lol. As the luck of the draw would have it im in late position with 8,6 clubs i call the big blind and the flop is 5,7,9 clubs , are you kidding i thought i was dreaming a royal and straight flush in the same day both first for me , what are the chances slim to none i'd guess. Any way turned my 150 into 2000 in about 12 hours . Damn the luck of the draw.

The luck of the draw. Recently I was playing 3-6 limit holdem at the local casino in Tucson, when the luck hit the draw. I bought into the game for 150 not really enough, but seeing it was saturday, afternoon 3-6 is a pretty loose easy game. Any way I was down to about 35 in chips i'd caught nothin but rags, for 2 hours straight. But to my amazment I was on the big blind, heres how it went down.
