Moving in with AceRag In Tournies

During tournaments you more likely then not will be at a point where you are barely surviving with little or no chips. It's called being really short stacked and isn't a fun situation to be in, your fighting to stay in the tournament.

The blinds and antes are about to hit you and you have enough for 5-10 more hands, you're just waiting to pick up a nice hand to move all in with. So you look down at A/6 and begin thinking is this the best hand I'm going to see and decide to push in your chips. You get called by a q/10 from the big blind. Your in coin toss scenario ( Your only about a 4% edge). Tha'ts pretty much the best you can hope for, besides someone with a2-3-4-5 calling, that's assuming your moving in with a6. Most ppl with a2-3-4-5. Won't call you anyhow in fear of being out kicked.

So people with big stacks will call you with pairs and usually and royalty, why because they know you could have just about anything & it doesn't hurt there stack.

So why move in with AceRag. At best your going to be a 5% edge, and worse a 3:1 dog if your outkicked or a pair higher then ure ace or a pocket pair higher then your kicker.

My personal oppinion is that it's better to move in with any mid pair or move in with suited connectors. or if real desperate any 2 royalties.
