Day 6 of the 2010 WSOP Main Event started with 205 players returning in the hopes of making moves and chipping up to have a legitimate shot at making the November Nine.

There were three main storylines that fans were following at the beginning of the day.

Johnny Chan started the day 10th in chips. Also, both Michael and Robert Mizrachi were in the field, the remnants of the four Mizrachi brothers that cashed.

Finally, Breeze Zuckerman was the last woman in the field and many were wondering whether she could make a move and make a legitimate run at this title.

The biggest story of this Main Event came to a somewhat abrupt end. Johnny Chan got involved in a raising war against Robert Pisano pre-flop. Eventually, Pisano was all-in for 2.19 Million and Chan made the call.

Chan flipped over pocket kings and Pisano flipped over the only thing that could beat Chan pre-flop, pocket aces. The board fell ten-high and Chan was left with only 800,000.

A little later, Chan was down to 550,000 and picked up pocket jacks. He moved all-in from the cutoff and Jonathan Driscoll insta-called from the button with pocket aces.

Chan failed to catch a jack, and in the span of two hands, Chan went from one of the chip leaders to eliminated from the 2010 WSOP Main Event. He finished in 156th place, good for $57,102.

Breeze Zuckerman's Main Event run ended with her finishing in 121st place. She moved all-in with Kd-10h pre-flop and ran smack into the aces of Eric Baldwin.

Zuckerman caught a king on the flop for some hope, but the board bricked out to send the last woman standing out of the Main Event.

Michael Mizrachi is the last Mizrachi brother standing after Day 6. Robert had an up and down day and was all-in for under 200,000 with Ah-10h. Josue Sauvageau made the call with As-Ks.

The board failed to produce a ten for Robert, and as such, he was eliminated in 116th place.

While Robert was eliminated, Michael Mizrachi began to remind the world of his past dominance of the NL Holdem world as he moved up to take over the chip lead for most of Day 6 play. On the last level, he fell to 2nd in chips, but still finished the day with 7.535 Million.

Theo Jorgensen is the chip leader heading into Day 7 play. He will start the day with 9.3 Million.  Alexander Kostritsyn is 8th in chips with 5.715 Million.

Jean-Robert Bellande, Hasan Habib, Scott Clements, Tony Dunst and David Benyamine are all still in the Main Event as well, but they are all below the chip average, which is 2.8 Million at present.

78 players will return at Noon PDT Friday and these players are scheduled to play down to the final 27. The final table is in sight and the next two days still promises a lot of great action and exciting stories.
