Dave D'Alesandro Wins UBOC Main Event

After 12 days of intense online poker action, the 2010 UBOC is over. Dave D'Alesandro won the Main Event along with $279,000.

10,000 players competing for $4 million

With over 4 million dollars in guaranteed prize money spread out over 18 events, the 2010 UB Online Poker Championship (UBOC) attracted a total of 10,000 players.

Most events filled up so well that the guarantee was met, so the player base didn't get to enjoy any massive amounts of free money.

D'Alesandro beat Kling in the Main Event headsup

The Main Event featured one million dollar guarantee all on its own. Thirteen-hundred entrants came to play, and Dave "doubledave22" D'Alesandro from New Jersey outlasted them all to pick up a handsome $279,000 first prize.

Runner-up and winner of still very solid $163,000 was Las Vegas resident Lauren Kling with the hard-to-decipher nickname "locoenlacabeza".
