Results for the next four events of the United States Poker Championship are in. The poker series continues until November 24th.
Event #5 - Virginia Native Wins NL Event
Event #5 was a $340 buy-in NL Holdem event. 142 players turned out to battle for the bracelet. The eventual winner, Dennis Summers, was down to just 775 chips earlier in the event and battle his way back to the final table. This win put Summers over $100,000 in tournament wins.

Event #6 - Finance Major Improves Finances
Event #6 was the $800 buy-in NL Holdem event. 78 players took the felt to make a prize pool of $56,940. First place took down $20,498. Ross Myers, a Finance degree holder from Stow, OH emerged as the eventual winner. Myers normally plays online poker, and focuses primarily on tournaments.

Event #7 - Robert Blescia takes down $340 NL.
Event #7 was yet another $340 NL event. Event #4 champions, Dennis Summers, took 12th in this event, netting another $562 in career earnings. Robert Blescia eventually took down the event for $12,750. In an interesting side note, a Ronald McDonald also finished in the money. (Grimace probably railed him.)
Event #8 - Defending Champion Repeats
Event #8 was the Ladies event. 59 ladies took the felt of this $230 buy-in event looking to take down the title and $4,248 in prize money. Last year, this event was won by Sarah Wasch of Philadelphia, PA. Wasch made the final table of the event again this year, and ultimately repeated as champion.
